Eric leads Scripps' use of analytics to identify new market opportunities, enhance its data storytelling capabilities, and provide insights that support the company's strategies of content and product innovation. Before joining Scripps, he was responsible for the development of analytics roadmaps, implementation strategies, and initiative plans for strategic accounts for a Cincinnati-based analytics consulting firm. Eric created the curriculum and taught data visualization at the University of Cincinnati with Tableau Zen Master Jeffrey Shaffer. He has also worked as a creative director, digital media strategist, account director, and director of interactive marketing. He started his career as a newspaper photojournalist.
