During the meetup, you’ll have time for general networking and more in-depth table conversations.
This session will detail how EDF Renewable Energy (EDF-Re) has adopted Tableau at an enterprise level to both report on and improve the performance of its renewable energy power plants. Specific daily and executive level dashboards will be demonstrated live, as well as ad hoc engineering studies in which Tableau directly led to engineering corrective actions and cost savings.
The overall data infrastructure behind Tableau will also be discussed, with emphasis on SQL Server to aggregate disparate data sources prior to Tableau consumption. Overall the session is designed to educate the audience on the use cases for Tableau within the renewable energy industry with live demonstrations, and comment on the success stories and challenges of enterprise adoption of the tools.
