TabJolt is specifically designed for Server Administrators to automatically load and interact with visualizations on their Tableau Server without the time consuming tasks of script development or maintenance.
In this 2-hour hands-on training, we will give you an opportunity to use TabJolt to push a heavy workload to Tableau Server in an AWS test environment and analyze how the Server responds under load. There are two types of people in this world. The ones that see what you can do with web authoring, and say "Wow! This stuff is amazing! It is so simple to use, anyone can make reports, publish them on server and share with everyone, and even subscribe to it! Unbelievable!" And then there are Tableau Server admins who say "Are you kidding?? Anyone can do this? They can load up my server with content, scatter stuff everywhere, and eat up my resources with ridiculous subscriptions and visualizations. No way am I going to let anyone do this!"
At Sprint we have over 20,000 views on our server and over 60% of them were created via Web Authoring. In this session I will be going over how we allow the masses access to all the free vizzing madness they want, but keep the server performance in check.

PAREXEL Informatic is a leading Clinical Research Solutions Provider. In this session, we'll discuss how we embedded Tableau at the heart of our MyTrials Analytics product. We built a platform to enable multi-tenanted Tableau Server dashboards to be accessed by clients all around the world using a single sign-on platform. These dashboards have a degree of customizability, allowing different clients to see the same dashboards in different flavors, with global filters operating between dashboards. The session will cover what we wanted to deliver by embedding Tableau, the challenges we faced when building this platform and how we overcame them.
